Owdyn currently anchors the start of a user's Week/Fortnight to their payday, as configured in Settings - Preferences. While this suits users who want their budgeting periods to match their income cycle, it doesn't suit everyone. Some users prefer their Week/Fortnight to follow a conventional calendar boundary, such as starting on a Monday or a Sunday, regardless of when they get paid.
Budgeting habits vary. Some people think in pay-cycle terms, while others are used to standard calendar weeks (e.g. for comparing against bank statements, other budgeting tools, or simply personal habit). Giving users control over this would make the app's period boundaries feel intuitive for both types of users, rather than forcing a single payday-based model on everyone.
